a little thing about litteracy

Ok as you recall we had previously seen a mention on Henry Carey being illerate. This is somewhat doubtful considering he has a certain level of correspondence left over, but still it is possible he wasn't the one who wrote his letters. Although at page 25 of the expansion of Elizabethan England I've notice something particular (source) apparently Lord Hunsdon was stricken by the gout  and it made his handwriting quite shaky. I think that may have explaineed why he was later assume to be illiterate.
